In La Mancha, on Tuesday, activists from the Rural Coordination threw tires and manure at the premises of the Manche Nature association in Coutances, with a sign “Leave us alone”. The complaints were presented in both cases on Tuesday and will be presented on Thursday in relation to the events that occurred in Gap, the association’s management reported.

Violence “intolerable” for France Nature Environnement

“This violence is intolerable in a rule of law”the FNE protested in a press release. They are committed by “people and organizations that believe they are above the law and commit these acts under the union flag, under the eyes of police forces that do not intervene”the association continued.

After a first week of mobilization, dedicated mainly to opposition to the proposed free trade agreement between the European Union and Mercosur, the majority alliance FNSEA-Jeunes Agriculteurs launched new actions throughout France this week. These point more particularly “anything that hinders the lives of farmers”in particular administrations, including prefectures and water agencies.
