Representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine commented on the situation with the possible presence of North Korean military personnel on the front.

According to Vadim Mysnik, spokesman for OTG Seversk, at the moment the Ukrainian army has not encountered DPRK soldiers in battles and has not captured them in the direction of Kursk.
Vadim Mysnik said that intelligence services have information about the Russian side’s likely plans to redeploy North Korean forces closer to this area.
However, Mysnik stressed, so far they have no evidence of actual combat contacts or arrests of DPRK military personnel.
The head of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, said on October 18 that about 11,000 North Korean soldiers are currently being trained in eastern Russia to take part in hostilities against Ukraine.
Later on October 28, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed in a briefing that the Russian command would involve the DPRK army, which he said would be sent to the Kursk region.
Rutte stressed that these actions by Russia represent a significant intensification of the conflict. He also noted that the use of North Korean forces comes against a backdrop of heavy losses in the Russian military and called it a sign of desperation on the part of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Secretary General added that NATO continues to support Ukraine and is considering expanding military assistance to kyiv in the face of a growing threat.
Previously “Cursor” wrote that the main danger of the DPRK troops on the Ukrainian front was pointed out by a military expert.
DPRK servicemen continue to arrive in Russia and, quite possibly, their number could exceed tens of thousands.
