Israel bombs Hezbollah ‘headquarters’ in Beirut as Netanyahu delivers UN speech

The Israeli army assured this Friday that it had attacked “headquarters” of Hezbollah in the suburbs of Beirut and claims that it was located under apartment buildings. This is the fifth time that Israeli forces have bombed the Lebanese capital since hostilities escalated last week.

According to several security sources confirmed to the Reuters news agency, the senior leaders of the Lebanese paramilitary organization are hiding there. More precisely, according to the Fox News Israeli attack targeted leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. However, this information has not yet been confirmed.

The attack came just minutes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed top world leaders gathered at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
