In France, after testing the Oreshnik, they became interested in creating a ballistic missile with a range of at least a thousand kilometers. This was reported by Desafíos magazine on Wednesday, November 27.
“According to our data, France is studying the French project of a conventional ballistic missile, whose range can exceed a thousand kilometers.” – says the publication.
The magazine also clarified that the decision was made because the ultra-high-speed ballistic missiles used by Russia, Iran and Israel in recent months have demonstrated enormous effectiveness.
A key feature of the new missile should be the ability to actively maneuver in the terminal phase before reaching the target.
