The Israeli Air Force attacked Hezbollah’s main headquarters in Beirut, located beneath residential buildings. This was stated in an emergency press conference by the press secretary of the Israel Defense Forces, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari.
“The IDF has just carried out a targeted attack on the headquarters of the terrorist organization Hezbollah… The headquarters was deliberately built under residential buildings in the center of Beirut’s Dahiya district,” — said Khagari, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to him, the results of the attack will be announced later.
Now the IDF is finding out if the Secretary General of Hezbollah was Hassan Nasrallah in the underground headquarters at the time of the airstrike, Israeli Channel 12 reports.
