Two years have just passed since the canonical coronation of Mary Most Holy of Peace and hope and his outdoor memory is now permanent. The corporation has just installed the long-awaited commemorative tile in the Plaza de las Capuchinas, on the facade of the convent of the Sisters of the Cross.
This is a work designed by Claros jobsa designer from whom the corporation commissioned its new procession scenario, executed by Francisco Moya. He will be blessed in the coming days, even though he is already visible in his place.
The Virgin of Peace appears dressed in her outing cloak and a white skirt, and wearing the crown made by Manuel Valera and that of the Bishop of Cordoba, Démetrio Fernándezwhich was imposed on him on October 15, 2022. In his left hand, he carries a large olive branch, symbol of Peace.
The background is green, so the two tones of its dedication are present: Mary Most Holy of Peace and Hope. It is framed in a border that simulates a altarpiecein which appear on the sides the coat of arms of the brotherhood and the emblem of the corporation, which made Rafael de Rueda.
In the center, above the Virgin, is the crowned anagram of the Ave Maria, between two angels. angel heads and floral jugs They abound in the decoration, which shows gold and red as the most significant colors.
The tile is protected by a cornice with a roof and is lit by two lanterns that during the night they will continue to commemorate the historic day in which the Virgin of Peace was canonically crowned. The brotherhood planned it a few months ago, but has now obtained permits for its disposal.
