“In Georgia there is strong external interference in the parliamentary elections.”

“This type of interference has happened before, external interference in the elections in Georgia is especially intense today and it is disappointing,” the head of government told Georgia’s First Channel.
Kobakhidze emphasized that before foreign forces could not change the will of the Georgian people and now attempts to influence the elections will not give any results.
It should be remembered that on September 16, the US State Department imposed sanctions against 64 Georgian citizens. The department explained that the restrictions apply to high-ranking state and city officials who are allegedly abusing their powers to limit the fundamental freedoms of the people of Georgia. In addition, restrictions have been imposed on some businessmen and deputies of the republic.
