Our compatriot Sultan Sultonov, who came to the fore rescuing passengers from the burning Russian plane in Antalya, Turkey, expressed his dissatisfaction with the airline “Azimut” that operated the flight.
Oku.Az informs that S. Sultanov’s complaint was published in the “RIA Novosti” agency.
Due to the incident, S. Sultanov was late for the flight from Türkiye to Egypt. Our compatriot asked the airline “Azimut” for help. However, the company stated that apart from a compensation of 100,000 rubles (1,500 manats), no assistance will be provided to passengers who are late for other flights.
S. Sultanov notes that his goal is not to receive additional financial assistance from the airline, he simply believes that the airline should provide moral support to passengers who are in danger.
It is worth remembering that yesterday our compatriot Sultan Sultanov, who lives in the Russian region of Krasnodar, saved the passengers of the burning Russian plane in Antalya, Türkiye.
Thus, on November 24, a passenger plane of the Russian airline “Azimut” caught fire while landing in Antalya, Türkiye. Our compatriot Sultan Sultanov, a resident of Krasnodar, helped evacuate the passengers. He flew on the same flight and after the fire started, he saw that the young flight attendant was in a panic and could not open the emergency exit door. S. Sultanov helped open the door and, together with the crew, pulled children and adults out of the burning plane.
