The next Conference of Regional Presidents will take place early December in Cantabriaaccording to the president of this region, María José Sáenz de Buruaga. Buruaga, after his meeting with President Pedro Sánchez in Moncloa, confirmed that the head of the Executive informed him that his plan was for the next Conference of Presidents to be held in early December in Cantabria, as had already been reported.
Sánchez did not confirm that the question of regional financingand therefore the agreement with ERC for unique financing in Catalonia, is on the agenda of the meeting, according to Buruaga. But she added that, if necessary, the regional presidents of the PP will force its integration.
During the day he also met with the head of the Executive, the president of La Rioja, Gonzalo Capellan, who gave a positive assessment of the meeting. “I came as president of the people of La Rioja, not of the PP […] The outcome is positive because he listened to the requests of La Rioja […] and you do not always have the opportunity to speak for more than an hour with the president of the Spanish government,” he stressed during his appearance before the media.
