Only in the far west of the peninsula will the approach of a front cause an increase in cloudiness at the end of the day. Likewise, there will be low cloudiness with probable morning mists and fogs in the areas of the two plateaus, the Ebro, the northeast depressions, the Balearic Islands and the southeast of the peninsula, with the probability to be dense in the areas of the northern and southeastern plateau. Light cloudiness is also expected in the Strait and west of Alborán, where light and scattered precipitation is likely. Likewise, in the Canary Islands stable weather is expected, with intervals of medium and high clouds, without precipitation and with mist in the eastern islands, less likely in the rest of the archipelago as well as in the south of the peninsula.
Thermometers will continue to rise: “Maximum temperatures are increasing, except in the Mediterranean arc and in the Ebro area where no change is expected, and with a probability of locally exceeding 30 degrees in the east of the Canary Islands. The decreases in minimums will predominate in the Mediterranean areas, in the northwest and southeast of the peninsula, with increases in the rest, more pronounced in the Canary Islands and in the southwest quadrant. “Light frosts in the mountains of the northern half of the peninsula and on the northern plateau.”
