The Civil Guard immobilized a school bus which was transporting minors to different schools in the Albox district, in the province of Almería, whose driver tested positive for drugs.
According to a statement from the Armed Institute, the events occurred on November 19 around 8 a.m., when officers from the Huércal Overa (Almería) road detachment carried out a control and inspection of a school bus for minors.
Drug testing while driving tested positive for THC (cannabis)while waiting for confirmation from the laboratory, for which an administrative offense for very serious misconduct has been formulated at the Provincial Traffic Directorate of Almería, which entails the proposal of withdrawal of six points from the driving license, as well as a financial sanction of 1,000 euros.
The school bus was stopped at the same location of the events while waiting another driver from the same company takes charge of the vehicle.
