Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The ministers discussed cooperation issues of mutual interest in various fields, including economy, transport and tourism, as well as relations within the framework of international organizations.
J. Bayramov reported on the post-conflict situation in the region, including preparations for COP29.
At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Ministers signed the Agreement “between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on exemption from the visa obligation for persons holding diplomatic and service passports” .
