The Anaitasuna club of Pamplona will organize elections for the presidency which will take place this Saturday September 28with three candidates for president and board of directors.
The current president, Merche López Pérez de Urabayen is running for re-election after winning the election four years ago. The candidates are Pablo Herrero del Barrio and José Manuel Narvaiz Ayarra.
Merche López highlights this in her program about its board of directors: “I give continuity to the people who support me and I leave the door open for the right people to join them depending on the projects to be executed.”
The first objective of the program is the sustainability of the club: “My program does not start from scratch and has the solvency of four years of intense work. We must continue! “The objectives that we will set in the new 2024-2028 strategic plan will be governed by an economic and financial viability plan which will guide all decisions with the sole and great objective of continuing the recovery of the Club and having a long-term vision of sustainability.” .
Pablo Herrero del Barrio He underlines in his program: “I want to make a change which allows us the sustainability of the company so that we can all continue its long history. The current financial situation is very delicate.”
“After having conquered a pre-contest from creditors in which the main entities have granted us a grace period to repay our debt, we continue to have a negative result. Therefore, the first objective is the exhaustive control of all expenses,” says del Barrio.
José Manuel Narvaiz Ayarra states: “The first thing I want to clarify, because I think it is acceptable to say that contrary to the smears expressed by others, I’m not here to ruin handball. On the contrary, I come to reaffirm this section which brings us so much on a daily basis, within the framework of its own autonomy and the viability of the club, like the rest of the sections. »
