Streets closed and EMT bus lines diverted in Valencia this Saturday, September 28 for the Night of the 15 km

The city of Valence celebrates on the night of this Saturday, September 28, the traditional 15 km night race, which will cause traffic cuts on a route that will start on Manuel Soto Avenue and cross some of the “most emblematic” areas of the capital such as Torres de Serranos, Calle de la Paz, Plaza de la Reina, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Calle Colón or Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.

The race, whose participation is expected to reach 12,000 people, is scheduled between 10:30 p.m. on Saturday September 28 and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday the 29th. traffic cut in both directions of Avenue Manuel Soto, in front of hangar 4, will take place from 1:30 p.m. to set up the departure and arrival area.

Likewise, road traffic, including that affecting the EMTit will make a detour through the interior of La Marina. The rest of the cuts linked to the route will be carried out from 9:30 p.m., as specified by the municipality in a press release.

During the test and in order to avoid possible traffic jams at the roundabout El Saler Shopping CenterProfessor López Piñero Avenue, at the entrance to Valencia, will remain open and traffic will be diverted by the Obrer Institute.

For its part, the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) has planned new routes on a total of 33 lines, between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 6:00 a.m. Sunday to bring citizens as close as possible to their destination. Given the “scale of the event”, during the 15 km, the lines C1, 4, 13, 18, 19, 30, 40, 94 and 95 will be deleted.

Users will be able to take lines 4, 19, 30, 92 and 95 to reach the race location before departure.
