The US State Department has announced a $10 million (17 million manat) reward for information on three Iranians linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which is trying to influence US elections.

“The State Department, along with other government agencies, is responding in a coordinated manner to Iran’s operations aimed at influencing the 2024 US elections, as well as operations prior to 2020,” the diplomat said.
Miller highlighted that the US Department of Finance imposed sanctions against 7 Iranian citizens in connection with alleged interference in the elections.
“The Iranian regime is increasingly trying to influence the results of the upcoming elections in the United States, because it believes that they will affect US foreign policy towards Iran,” the diplomat said.
In turn, the United States Department of Justice accused three Iranians of hacking the electoral headquarters of Donald Trump, the presidential candidate of the Republican Party.
