THE Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET), represented by its president Miguel Díaz, has entered into a strategic alliance with the Valencia Tennis Club and the Faulcombridge Cup, one of the oldest tournaments in Spain. This collaboration aims to promote the development of national and international tennis, consolidating Valencia as a reference on the professional circuit.
During the event, which was held in the facilities of the Valencia Tennis ClubDíaz highlighted the importance of this type of tournaments for Spanish tennis players, who will be able to add valuable ATP points without leaving the country. He also highlighted the work of Pablo Andújar, tournament director and former professional tennis player, in organizing this high-level event.
The tournament director Pablo Andujar He thanked RFET for the great support given to Spanish tennis, especially to national tournaments and to Valencian players, which has increased opportunities for all.
Finally, Ole Andresen, President of the Valencia Tennis Club, expressed the ambition of the Club, together with Pablo Andújar, to continue growing in the Challenger circuit, with the long-term objective of recovering an ATP 250 tournament for the city of Valencia .
