The General Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior carried out operations and discovered 22 kilograms of drugs.

Algadir Jahangirov, born in 2000, was reported to have been detained during the following operation in the Absheron region. During the inspection of his “Toyota” car, a total of about 22 kilograms of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances were found.
The detainee planned to steal drugs from a predetermined location and deliver them to different addresses in exchange for a financial benefit through an Iranian citizen whose identity is under investigation.
A criminal case has been initiated in relation to the incident and a preventive detention measure has been chosen for the detainee by court decision. Measures are being taken to arrest other people who were allied with A. Jahangirov.
