IDF announced the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah

The press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officially announced the death of the leader of the Shiite Hezbollah movement, Hassan Nasrullah. According to the Israeli side, he was killed in an Israeli air force attack on September 27 in Beirut.

The press release said the IDF carried out a targeted attack on Hezbollah’s underground headquarters, which was located next to residential buildings in the Dahiya area of ​​Beirut.

Along with Nasrullah, the group’s Southern Front commander was also allegedly killed during this attack. Ali Karaki and other high-ranking commanders.

The Israelis stressed that Nasrullah was responsible “for the killing of many Israeli civilians and soldiers, as well as planning and carrying out thousands of terrorist attacks.”

His announced death was commented on by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi.

“This is not the end of the toolbox, that should be very clear. We still have the means to take further action. “The message is simple to those who threaten the citizens of the State of Israel: we can catch them.” – the general warned.
