The “Mi-8” helicopter crashed in the North Waziristan region of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

According to preliminary information, 6 people died and 8 were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured were taken to the nearest hospitals.
It is reported that the “Mi-8” type helicopter, which was carrying out a charter flight, crashed into an oil field in North Waziristan due to engine failure.
It was observed that there were company personnel on the helicopter and that the pilots were Russian citizens.
In a statement issued by “Mari Petroleum Company”, which rented the helicopter, it was noted that the accident occurred due to technical failures and was not related to security problems in the region.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
