Concretely, the first mayor of Seville responded to a tweet published this Friday by the minister on this subject. In this document, Sanz returns to Expo’92 to list the lack of state investment in this city.

In his profile, the minister highlighted the desire to “the Sevillian right” to paralyze the order of the SE-40 bridge to Ineco, binding the engineering employers’ association which filed the appeal.

“Paradoxically, terrible news for the Sevillian right, which on the one hand asks us to run with the SE-40 and on the other hand torpedoes the procedures,” declared the minister. Puente was referring to the news that the Court of Contract Appeals rejected the engineering employers’ associations’ appeal against the SE-40 tender to Ineco.

In his response, the Mayor of Seville listed all the grievances that Seville has suffered from the State in terms of investments and infrastructure. Above all, in relation to this work “when the Government chooses the bridge rather than the tunnel“.

In addition, he assures in his message that “the minister does not even respond to letters from the mayor of all Sevillians to address these issues.” He ends his post by insisting that “This is not the treatment one of Spain’s main cities deserves“.
