SHAMAN and Gazmanov argued in the State Duma about the inclusion of their songs in the school curriculum

People’s Artist of Russia Oleg Gazmanov and Honored Artist of Russia Yaroslav Dronov (CHAMAN) took part in the round table of the State Duma Committee on Culture, dedicated to the integration of patriotic songs into the school curriculum. This was reported by the committee’s press service.

According to the deputy chairman of the housing construction and communal services committee. Sergei Kolunov (“United Russia”), deputies propose to include songs by artists such as SHAMAN, Gazmanov and the group “Lube” in the school music curriculum.

According to Dronov, this initiative is doomed to success.

“But for this to happen, this music must be played on television, on the devices that young people use. Patriotic songs are not only military songs, they are also songs about culture, nature, love.” – said the artist.

He is also willing to teach open classes on patriotism in schools; For example, you could stop by one of the city’s schools, where you will give a concert. SHAMAN believes that his colleagues can also join this action.

Gazmanov criticized the management of Russian radio and television channels, which silence songs about the SVO and the fighters.

“We are not at war with Ukraine. The Western world wants to destroy us. Where is our “Everything for the front, everything for victory”? Where is “Rise up, great country”? Imagine if during that period (the years of World War II) such great songs were drowned out, what would have happened? – asks questions.

According to Gazmanov, now even famous artists find it difficult to go on air with patriotic songs.

“I bring songs and they tell me: let’s not be so harsh, let’s not emphasize,” he said. – How could it be different when we have already lost an entire generation? – Gazmanov is perplexed.

The artist believes that Russian children should listen, even in schools, to modern songs written at the front. Front-line poets, he stressed, write beautiful poetry.

They plan to add to the roundtable resolution a clause on the inclusion of modern patriotic songs in the school curriculum for grades 1 to 8, and on broader representation of the compositions in digital media and platforms.

As reported EADailysongs by SHAMAN, Gazmanov and the Lyube group are already included in the program of music lessons for schoolchildren in Chita. According to the music teacher Tatiana Larionovaschoolchildren study the subject “music” in accordance with the federal educational program in this discipline for grades 1 to 8. It includes works of all major Russian classics. And within the framework of the “patriotic block” children study the work of modern artists.
