A journalist saved a woman during a flood – video

During the flooding in the United States caused by Hurricane Helen, Fox host Bob Van Dillen showed true heroism. He became famous for saving a woman live on television.

The incident was captured in a video posted to the FOX Weather YouTube channel.

When Van Dillen reported on the hurricane’s aftermath, he was outside in Atlanta, where the storm was raging. Suddenly he heard cries for help from a woman trapped in a flooded car. She couldn’t get out of her car, which became a trap for her.

The journalist was not surprised and immediately announced that he would interrupt the transmission to call the rescuers. However, in order not to waste time on salvation, he decided to act on his own. Van Dillen ran to the car and helped the woman out, then pulled her out of the water. He is about two meters tall and in good physical shape, which many believe played a large role in this rescue.

The video of his act quickly went viral and impressed those who saw it. In the comments below the video, people wrote:
“Bob is a true hero!”, “How brave he is, just incredible!”, “This is the best broadcast of his career!”

Recall that “Cursor” wrote that a 67-year-old tourist from Tel Aviv received an injury to the lower part of the body during a walk in the vicinity of Nes Harim. Due to the difficult location deep in the rugged terrain, a helicopter was dispatched to rescue him. The injured woman was airlifted by rope for further treatment.
