This Wednesday, the Dutch magazine ‘Privé’ published, exclusively, the images of King Juan Carlos I and Bárbara Rey kissing on the private porch of a house in Aravaca, Madrid. The same in which they assure, they would have maintained numerous clandestine meetings during the time that their romance lasted. These snapshots become evidence that confirms what, for years, was an open secret.
The person responsible for making them public would have been Angel Christ Jrwho appears with a negative on one of the pages of this magazine, and who insists that it was the person responsible for carrying them out when he was barely over ten years old. Information that his sister denies, Sofia Christin Espejo Público: “I’m just going to say that These photos are stolen, they are taken by an adult and, for the moment, I am not going to delve into the subject.”
In the same spirit, the son of the ex-star claims that his mother forced him to take these photos to blackmail the then king. According to him, he took these photographs from a neighbor’s house, adjacent to the house where King Juan Carlos and Bárbara Rey met in secret.
Angel Christ Jr He also warns in an interview that “I will go to the end“on this subject now that these images taken in the early 1990s have been published, because he is “ashamed” that this “situation happened”.But you have to tell the truth“, he maintains. According to him, his “adolescence was marked by experiences and situations that did not belong to him” and that he has evidence, witnesses and recordings which confirm his version. “If my mother and my sister want to lie to the judge, go ahead. I no longer expect anything from them,” he said.
For her part, Sofía Cristo, sister of Ángel Cristo, declared in her interview for Espejo Público that she considers her brother “capable of anything”. “I hope he rots in a fucking prison” he said.
Ángel Cristo faces five years in prison if Bárbara Rey finally decided to denounce him for selling or sending her private images with King Juan Carlos I to a Dutch magazine.
