Nearly 500 cities around the world protested today in favor of Edmundo González to demand international recognition of Edmundo González as the legitimate president of Venezuela.
A global demonstration that had its epicenter in Madrid, where Edmundo González, accompanied by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, arrived at a crowded Puerta del Sol to participate in the demonstration to applause. This is the first major appearance of the Venezuelan politician in our country and the most social so far.
The Venezuelan leader took the opportunity to call for international support. A demand that the street also demanded: “The international community is the one that can also support us. “Let them not forget what they are in Venezuela, and let us give them all our support in Europe.”
Among those who were there, there were many Venezuelans who were forced to leave the country: “Finally, Venezuela united everything with one voice, we think the same way, we can all go all the way . What is happening in Venezuela was not experienced in any country in the world, only in Hitler’s time.”
The participants also launched their message of support for Edmundo González, with also mentions of Nicolás Maduro: “Since Maduro does not want to accept his defeat, we must demand that he accept it. “We come to support our elected president Edmundo González, he won with more than 70% and the Maduro government does not want to recognize him.”
Demonstrations that have been repeated around the world to defend what, according to them, the Venezuelan people decided in the July 28 elections.
