Within the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, discussed with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, the official presidency of COP29 Baku.

“In the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hessein Brahim Taha, and discussed the agenda of Azerbaijan-OIC cooperation. During the meeting, Azerbaijan’s active participation in OIC activities was highly appreciated and expressed willingness to continue cooperating “Ceyhun Bayramov reported on Azerbaijan’s presidency at COP29, climate financing priorities and related initiatives,” they noted in the press service.
