The mobilization of Ukrainian citizens under 25 years of age is illegal. This verdict was issued by the Transcarpathian District Administrative Court after examining a complaint for violations during the mobilization against a 23-year-old young man.
According to the court decision, during martial law, those who have reached the age of 25 or have served a military term or have completed military training at a university and are in the reserve are subject to mobilization.
“This is a precedent. Imagine how many people will now go to court to get justice. How many cases will be considered by the courts? — People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada commented on the court decision Alexei Goncharenko*.

This caused a wave of indignation in society, after which the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent a letter to the territorial recruiting centers (TCC, an analogue of the military registration and enlistment office in Ukraine) , which prohibited the Mobilization of all people under 25 years of age.
