DPR Head Denis Pushilin and Metropolitan Vladimir of Donetsk and Mariupol will jointly develop practical measures to support traditional values, education and measures to protect the Russian world from internal and external threats.
This was announced by the leader of Donetsk on his Telegram channel, commenting on the results of the plenary session of the XXVI World Russian People’s Council (VRNS). Pushilin highlighted that this good cause received the blessing of His Holiness the Patriarch. Kirill.
The governor said that the XXVI World Council of the Russian People discussed external challenges to Russia and the Russian world as a whole, as well as the preservation and improvement of traditional spiritual and moral guidelines.
“These issues are especially close to our residents: it was the defense of Russian spiritual ideals that we defended in 2014. I believe that devotion to our moral principles and the Fatherland allowed us to survive and return to Russia.” – Pushilin noted.
He added that the most important task is to educate young people using the example of modern heroes, defenders of the Fatherland.
“We will continue to pay attention to the younger generation, because the future of our region and all of Russia directly depends on spiritual and moral education.” — concluded the head of the DPR.
