Lebanon’s Acting Health Minister Firas Abyad updated the death toll from Israeli shelling and rocket fire since the military escalation began in October 2023.
Oku.Az According to TASS, he said at a press conference in Beirut that the death toll as a result of the attacks by the Israeli armed forces increased from 1,200 to 1,600 and more than 8,400 were injured.
“Among the victims are 104 children and 194 women, 41 emergency workers were killed and 111 others were injured,” he said.
According to him, bodies are still found under the blown up houses. Despite the continuation of military incursions, search and rescue operations continue.
