Chinese company BYD has unveiled the new minivan “Xia” at the Chengdu Motor Show.

According to the information, the new product will go on sale at the end of this year. The expected starting price is 300,000 yuan (about 72,000 manats – ed.).
The dimensions of the “Xia” are 5145x1970x1805, the wheelbase is 3045 mm.
Like many new BYD products, this minivan will be equipped with the new fifth-generation DM hybrid system. It is assumed that for the basic version of the “Xia” a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 156 horsepower and an electric motor with 272 horsepower will be used, but it is possible that in the future there will be an all-wheel drive modification with an additional motor on the rear axle. The big vein should travel up to 200 km on electric power. In the novelty, in addition to the lack of pneumatic elements used in some other models, the “DiSus-C” will receive a special adaptive suspension.
