Lobato resigned on Wednesday, two days after the TS was summoned
When the summons was announced last Monday, Lobato was still leader of the Madrid socialists. On Wednesday, he resigned from his position after the controversy sparked in the ranks of the party because he had taken to a notary the conversation with a Moncloa official who had forwarded him the “email” in which Díaz Ayuso’s partner and her husband would have confessed to tax offenses which are under the microscope of the Supreme Court.

TS judge summons him after ABC exclusive
Judge Ángel Hurtado accepted the testimony after the information published last Sunday by ABC in which he confirmed that Moncloa had leaked the secret document of Ayuso’s boyfriend and tried to implicate Lobato. As this newspaper published, Pilar Sánchez Acera – current chief of staff of the Minister of Digital Transformation Óscar López and then chief of staff of Pedro Sánchez – disclosed the document to him so that he could use it during a session control with Ayuso.

Lobato Testifies in Supreme Court on Leaked Emails About Ayuso’s Boyfriend
The former secretary general of the PSOE of Madrid Juan Lobato testifies this Friday as a witness before the judge of the Supreme Court who is investigating the state attorney general, Álvaro García Ortiz, for the alleged leak to the press of a series of emails between the defense of Alberto González Amador, the boyfriend of Madrid president Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and the prosecutor who is investigating him for alleged tax crimes to reach an agreement.
