The PSOE was appointed new spokesperson in the Madrid Assembly Jesus Celadawho was deputy spokesperson for Juan Lobatoresigned this week from his post as secretary general of the PSOE-M.
Celada was one of the visible faces of Lobato’s team after his arrival in October 2021. A low-risk change from the manager, who has the mission of guaranteeing the primaries which begin next week and which will crown Oscar Lopez.
Celada had already replaced Juan Lobato in several press conferences after the Council of Spokespersons and is furthermore one of Lobato’s trusted deputies whom he placed in the position of commission of inquiry which studies whether there was favorable treatment towards the wife of the President of the Government, Begoña Gomezby the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).

Jesús Celada arrived in Madrid politics in 2021 with the first candidacy for the regional presidency of Juan Lobato. He then left the Spanish government, where he was general director of disability policies.
