The socialist deputy in the Madrid Assembly, Jesús Celada, will be the new spokesperson for the parliamentary group, after the resignation of Juan Lobato as secretary general of the PSOE-M, as LaSexta was able to confirm. Meanwhile, Lobato still remains a deputy in the Madrid Chamber.
This Friday, the socialist group delivered the letter to the Assembly Council, as Efe was informed by parliamentary sources, to proceed with the change of spokesperson. The change among Madrid’s socialists also includes Martha Bernardo as deputy spokesperson for the group.
Celada, who until now served as deputy spokesperson, will be the new visible face of the socialist parliamentary group in the regional parliament. Born in Madrid in 1976, he is an engineer by profession and was Director General of Disability Policies between 2018 and 2021.
