Israel claims to have killed Nabil Qouk, another senior Hezbollah official, in a bomb attack in south Beirut.

The Israeli army announced this Sunday the death of Nabil Qaoukcommander of the preventive security unit of the Shiite organization Hezbollahduring an attack on Saturday against the suburb of Dahyesouth of Beirut.

The armed forces assured last night that it was a “precise” bombingjust one day after the attack which cost the life of the leader of the pro-Iranian group, Hasan Nasrallah.

“The terrorist Qouk is considered close to the top of the terrorist organization“, the Army reported this morning in a statement. The Lebanese group, for the moment, has not commented on his death.

Qaouk joined Hezbollah in 1980 and served as deputy in southern Lebanon hand in hand with the organization, added the armed forces, which described him as a figure regularly present in the media on behalf of the Shiite group.

The death of Hezbollah’s internal security chief is part of a intense Israeli offensive against the group in Lebanon, which has already caused more than a thousand deaths in different strongholds of the organization, whether in the south of the country, in the Bekaa Valley or in the capital, Beirut.

Saturday’s attack targeted the Chiyah neighborhood in the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN).

Before, in the early morning, Israel bombed several points in this same suburballeging that Hezbollah stored “anti-ship missiles embedded under six residential buildings”, and even urged Lebanese civilians to move at least 500 meters away from these areas.

“The Israel Defense Forces continue to attack and eliminate the commanders of the terrorist organization and take action against anyone who threatens the citizens of the State of Israel,” concluded the military statement this Sunday.

For his part, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards confirmed this Sunday the death of the deputy commander of operations of the military force, Brigadier General Abbas Nilforushan, in the Israeli attack on Beirut on Friday, during which the leader of the Lebanese militia Hezbollah also died. Hasan Nasrallah.

“Guard Brigadier General Abbas Nilforushan, one of the veteran and proud commanders of the Holy Defense and advisor to the IRGC (Guard) in Lebanon, joined his fellow martyrs in the brutal regime’s terrorist attack in the afternoon of Friday, September 27,” the military body said in a statement collected by the Tasnim agency.

The powerful military body, founded by the Ayatollah Ruhola Khomeini with the mission of defending the Islamic Revolution, “strongly condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime in beloved Lebanon,” according to the statement.

Nilrushan was military advisor in Lebanondeputy commander of operations of the Ground Force of the Revolutionary Guards, deputy of operations of the General Staff and dean of the Faculty and Research Institute of Defense Sciences.

Was sanctioned by the United States since October 2022 for his role in suppressing peaceful protests, particularly in the predominantly Sunni province of Sistan-Baluchistan.

In recent months many revolutionary guards died in countries in the region, including seven, including three generals, at the Iranian consulate in Damascus in April, in an attack attributed to Israel.
