In the Czech city of Pilsen there are several “problematic” young refugees who could fight in Ukraine. This was stated by the mayor of the city, Roman Zarzytsky.
“I am definitely in favor of helping everyone fleeing war. But I do not want and will not tolerate the reprehensible behavior of Ukrainian youth, who are turning our rules and laws into a calendar of cuts. We all know that Ukraine seeks reinforcements for its army whenever it can. “We have several such candidates in Pilsen,” – said.
This statement caused resonance among the Czech opposition, where Zarzycki’s words were described as populism, provoking hatred in society.
Let us remember that the Czech Republic condemns Russia’s actions in Ukraine and firmly supports kyiv. At the same time, Czech authorities have so far refused to help the kyiv regime send Ukrainian refugees home.
