The requests of the Prosecutor General’s Office on the extradition of Azerbaijani citizens Famil Allahverdi oglu Askarov and Zamin Nureddin oglu Abdullayev were accepted by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia.

So, since it was determined that Famil Askarov had committed fraud crimes that caused a large amount of damage and that Zamin Abdullayev’s fraud caused a large amount of damage to the organized group, the decision was made to present them as defendants, and they were undertaken an international search to escape the investigation and go into hiding.
The mentioned persons were detained on the territory of the Russian Federation and brought to Azerbaijan on November 28, 2024 accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
