During the 44-day Patriotic War, Armenians repeatedly attacked settlements and civilians far from the battlefield. Even in the cemeteries there are traces of Armenian vandalism.

Like the cemetery of the Sahlabad village of Tartar. According to the village resident, Jabrayil Yusifov, the Armenians destroyed all the graves in the mentioned cemetery in one night:

“We arrived in the morning and saw that all the tombs were destroyed. 266 tombs were damaged and more than 100 were completely destroyed.”

It should be noted that on October 14, 2020, four civilians: Parviz Orujov, Isgender Amirov, Vasif Rustamov and Shakir Zamanov died on the spot from shrapnel wounds as a result of the shelling of the Tatar city cemetery during the funeral ceremony.
