considers his statement “useful, necessary, relevant” after Lobato’s revelations
The Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), a popular accusation in the trial against the State Attorney General before the Supreme Court for revealing secrets, has already requested the summons of Pilar Sánchez Acera, former chief of staff of Óscar López when the Today minister was at the Office of the Presidency to testify as under investigation. ICAM took this step shortly after completing the statement, this Friday morning, of the former secretary general of the PSOE of Madrid, Juan Lobato, who ratified the ABC exclusivity.
In a writing to which this newspaper had access, the ICAM lawyer emphasizes that taking into account the appearance testimony of Mr. Juan Lobato “we are interested, under the protection of article 311 of the LECrim, because we consider it useful, necessary, relevant and that it has a close relationship with the subject of the judicial investigation,” said Pilar Sánchez Acera, current chief of staff of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Service.
“The reason is that, from the statements made by the witness Mr. Lobato, it is clear the need to obtain a statement from whoever was the interlocutor in the communications via WhatsApp and who turned out to be the source of the nuclear document which is the subject of the investigations.”
