A recent Israeli airstrike in Beirut resulted in the discovery of the body of Hassan Nasrallah, secretary general of Hezbollah, who was assassinated on September 27.
Nasrallah’s body had no visible injuries, according to two sources given to Reuters. It is assumed that he died from a closed wound caused by the blast wave.
Al-Arabiya television channel posted a video on its website that it says shows Nasrallah’s body being recovered from the rubble.

At the same time, Channel 12 reported that the Israeli Air Force dropped 83 tons of ammunition on Dahiya during Friday’s operation. For this, F-15I aircraft were used, which used specialized BLU-109 bombs designed to destroy underground shelters.
The BLU-109 bomb, developed in 1985, is known for its ability to penetrate concrete structures. It is designed to penetrate bunkers by first destroying the roofs and then exploding inside, making it an effective tool against strong objects. The ammunition is capable of penetrating between 1.2 and 1.8 meters of reinforced concrete and has been sold to several US allies, including Israel, South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
