The commander of the artillery division, a participant in the Patriotic War, died

A veteran of the Patriotic War died in Bilasuvar.

According to Lent.az, Jalal Adıböyük’s son Rahimov died this morning of heart failure.

He was buried in Bilasuvar district where he was born.

J. Rahimov, 40, graduated from the Heydar Aliyev Higher Military School in 2005. As an officer of the Azerbaijani army, he served the Fatherland with honor at the front. He received numerous orders and medals for his impeccable services.

Major J. Rahimov fought heroically for Fuzuli, Khojavand, Tug and Shusha during the Patriotic War. He was an artillery commander.

It should be noted that after the war, the veteran served as commander of the artillery division in the military unit located in Shusha. It had been in reserve for a year. He was single.
