Russian units have already gained a foothold in the southern part of Tsukurino village. This was reported by the Strana publication in reference to military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that over the weekend in Kurakhovsky (the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recently divided the Pokrovsky direction into two. – EADaily), the Russian Armed Forces advanced in the two hottest areas: near Selidovo and Tsukurino, located to the south.

“This is one of the epicenters of the fighting in the direction of Pokrovsk. “This settlement is important to us, because if the enemy manages to capture it, they will be able to expand the ledge south of Selidovo, which will complicate the defense of the city.” – writes an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign in his social network account Alex.

In Tsukurino there are “key heights”, the loss of which will force Ukrainian troops to retreat to unprepared and inconvenient positions, adds a soldier with the call sign Flour.

Today, the Deep State military public reported on the occupation by the Russian Armed Forces of the village of Marinovka and a wide swath southwest of Novogrodovka; all this in the direction of Selidovo from the northeast, the publication explains.

“(Therefore) Russian troops are trying to surround Selidovo from the south (Tsukurino) and the north. Apparently, it is this city that is now the immediate target of the Russian Federation in the Pokrovsk-Kurakhovsky area. From the northern flank, in all likelihood, Russian troops will try to cut off the Selidovo-Pokrovsk highway, and from the southern flank, the Selidovo-Kurakhovo highway, thus cutting off the city from logistics. The Russians have to walk another 4 or 5 kilometers to both routes,” summarizes Strana.
