The head of the kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, appointed Mikhail Drapaty as the new commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Oleg Apostol as deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Strana” on Friday, November 29. It should be noted that both appointments were agreed by the Office of the President of Ukraine with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky.
Zelensky’s press service characterizes Drapaty as an experienced military leader who “successfully organized the defense in the direction of Kharkov and thwarted the offensive operation of the Russian forces.”
Colonel Oleg Apostol is described as an “experienced commander”, commander of the 95th independent air assault brigade. Bankova states that both “proved their effectiveness in battle.”
The main task of the newly appointed servicemen is to significantly increase the combat effectiveness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and ensure the quality of training of military personnel by introducing “innovative approaches to people management in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
Recall that in May the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation again included General Mikhail Drapaty on the wanted list, who at that time served as commander of the operational tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Kharkov”.
Previously EADaily reported that women in Ukraine will be registered in the army after completing the so-called basic service, which is the Ukrainian analogue of conscription.
