Less than a month before the arrival of Christmas Eve and the celebration of the Birth of the Child Jesus, Malaga is preparing to experience the Christmas holidays with the inauguration, on the afternoon of this Friday, November 29, of Christmas lighting in the streets of the capital of the Costa del Sol.
Thanks to the Canal Málaga signal, ABC Andalucía readers will be able to follow live the pre-show, with a broadcast from 6:20 p.m. this afternoon. More than 2.7 million LED lights They will be lit to officially launch the season of Christmas carols and mantecados.
The lighting will last until January 6, 2025 and, although there are many streets that will have thousands of lights, there will be very special lighting on some city roads.
Larios Street
The epicenter of the magic of Christmas in Malaga will be, as every year, this emblematic street, which will maintain its traditional theme of Heavenly Angels which has won over both locals and tourists in previous editions.
The main Alameda
This year, the Forest of Lights will return, where there will be a large light corridor along the Alameda.
Rue Saint-Jean
This street is brand new with a unique decoration, as in recent years, which divides the street into three differentiated light spaces.
