The former teacher of school no. 1 of the city of Nakhchivan, Saryya Ganbarova, appealed to the court after she was fired from her job.
According to “Gaynarinfo”, he sued the Department of Education of the city of Nakhchivan.
Seriaya Ganbarova’s claim relates to reinstatement and payment of wages during the period she was unemployed. The lawsuit will be heard in the Nakhchivan city court. Gulsum Aliyeva was appointed judge in the case.
Seriaya Ganbarova was a physical education teacher. In September of this year he shared on social media that he was attacked at the school where he worked. A month later, he announced that he had been fired for it.
The Ministry of Science and Education of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic subsequently linked his dismissal to a violation of labor discipline. The Ministry’s statement states that Saryya Ganbarova did not go to work during September 2024, violating labor discipline, and did not teach her classes according to the schedule without good reason after the start of education.
