YouTube has blocked videos of Adele, Bob Dylan, Green Day, REM, Burna Boy, Rush and other artists in the United States due to a legal dispute with the European Society for the Protection of Copyrights of Musical Composers (SESAC).

A representative of “YouTube” said that the management held productive negotiations with SESAC, but it was not possible to reach a fair agreement until the contract expired, so the videos were blocked.
However, it is noted that the videos disappear before the contract ends, and the platform may do this intentionally.
