This week we present several rock, jazz, singing and various music events. British rock band The House of Love on tour
In 2023, British rock group The House of Love finally returned to perform in France for a memorable reunion after eighteen years of absence. With its pioneering shoegaze guitars and deeply melancholic melodies, the rock group of phlegmatic singer and guitarist Guy Chadwick was one of the most prominent in the late 1980s, along with the Pixies and the Stone Roses. The House of Love has since undergone some renovations, with a completely revamped staff since the album. a state of grace (2022), but its irreplaceable leader Guy Chadwick still occupies the house.
After having visited Amiens and Marseille in September, The House of Love returns to France for four dates starting 1Ahem to October 4, in Toulouse, Clermont-Ferrand, Rennes and Paris. The tour focuses on the period 1990-1993 with the albums released on the Fontana Records label, recently reissued on vinyl.
