Israel bombs downtown Beirut, killing three Palestinian Popular Front leaders

An attack of Israel in Beirut (Lebanon) caused the death of three leaders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine this Sunday. This was confirmed by a statement from the Palestinian group itself, assuring that the three victims were: Muhammad Abdul Aalmember of the Front’s political bureau and head of the military security department; Imad Awdamember of the military department of the Front and its military commander in Lebanon; and the chef Abdul Rahman Abdul Aal.

“The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, in bidding farewell to its heroic martyred leaders, promises them and all the martyrs of our people and our nation that will continue the path of struggle and resistance until the occupation is swept away, no matter how long it takes and no matter how great the war,” they added in the statement.

For his part, the Israeli army has not yet commented on this attack, since in its latest statement, the Israeli army limited itself to citing the latest attacks against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, in particular those carried out in the Bekaa region, in the east of the country.

“Over the past two hours, the army attacked dozens of terrorist targets in Hezbollah in the Bekaa, including dozens of launchers and buildings housing weapons”, they indicate in the text. “The army continues to operate to degrade and dismantle the capabilities of Hezbollah”, they indicated.

Hezbollah leader eliminated

Likewise, the Israel Defense Forces (FDI) announced this Saturday, September 28, the elimination of the supreme leader of the terrorist group Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. According to information provided by Israel, he was hit during intense bombardments launched in the afternoon and night of Friday in the southern suburbs of Beirut, stronghold of the organization.

Hassan Nasrallah “It will no longer be able to terrorize the world,” the Israeli army posted on its social media account. There is no longer any leadership in the organization, since the second echelons have also been removed.

With his death, Israel completes the operation against the organization’s leaders. Last week, Ibrahim Aqil, Hezbollah’s chief of operations, was eliminated, along with his eleven commanders of regional forces and training units. A hard blow which left the militias without any real operational capacity on the ground and practically without the possibility of organizing major attacks against Israel.
