Iran’s former president made a funny comment about Mossad

Israel continues to analyze the consequences of the elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, as former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made a sensational statement.

He said a unit had been created in the country aimed at countering Israel, but there was a caveat.

“We created a unit to counter Israel and its leader turned out to be a Mossad agent,” he said.

Previously, Kursor reported that Iran had already expressed new threats against Israel, ensuring that none of the “crimes” against this country would go unanswered. At a weekly press conference, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani commented on recent developments, including the assassination of Nasrallah and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) deputy commander Abbas Nilforoushan, which occurred as result of an IDF airstrike in Beirut.

Similar threats were made by the commander of the Iranian army, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, who noted that the Hezbollah flag will never be lowered and, thanks to the blood of each martyr, it rises higher and higher. According to him, “Nasrallah’s blood will be the beginning of the end of the Zionist entity and its masters.”

Mousavi also added that the elimination of Nasrallah will only strengthen the resistance, and in the future Hezbollah will raise its flag even higher than before. Iranian authorities strongly condemned the assassination of two key figures close to the Islamic Republic. For many years, Nasrallah led Iran’s support for the terrorist group, which received significant funds and weapons from Tehran.

The death of Nilforoushan, who commanded the Quds Force and was responsible for IRGC operations outside Iran, was another blow to Iranian interests in the region.
