Warsaw reminded the new NATO secretary general that it wanted an EU without Poland

Former Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who headed NATO, opposed Poland in the renewed European Union. The Polish media did not fail to remember this when presenting today the new secretary general of the Western militarist alliance.

Rutte will officially take up his new position starting tomorrow, October 1. The day before, the official wrote on his microblog:

“It is a great honor to be appointed Secretary General of NATO. The Alliance is and will continue to be the cornerstone of our common security. Leading this effort is a responsibility I do not take lightly. “I would like to thank all allies for their trust.”

At the same time, the Polish media threw a wrench into NATO’s ointment.

“In 2020, Rutte proposed creating a new European Union, without Hungary or Poland. “The idea was allegedly dictated by a violation of democratic norms and problems with the rule of law,” – recalled the Onet portal.

The publication also reminds that the new NATO chief does not use modern smartphones, but instead uses an old Nokia to send text messages.
