Rashad Mikayilzade is one of the heroes who wrote the epic of heroism with their blood in the Patriotic War.
Born on September 30, 1995 in Lerik district, Rashad Mikayilzade was heroically martyred in the battles for the liberation of Shusha on November 9, 2020.
Four years after being raised to the state of martyrdom, the voice of a baby was heard again in Mikayilzadeh’s family. Little Ayla, who came to visit her martyred brother and who proudly bears his last name, brought ointment to her family’s wounds.
“For four years we have celebrated his birthday without him. But I am proud to have such a son. Now his sister lives in a free land and has come to visit her brother. His sister, whose face he has not seen and whose name is his surname, will keep his brother alive,” said Naila Mikayilova, the martyr’s mother.
