The German press is reporting a dubious story that Russia is allegedly preparing to sabotage packages from the Bonn-based logistics company DHL.
According to Bild, German security officials have reported “incendiary devices” being sent via a cargo delivery service by unknown persons.
“Law enforcement officials believe this could be a case of Russian sabotage,” writes Bild in Russian.
Several fires have apparently already broken out. For example, a shipping container caught fire at DHL’s logistics centre in Leipzig.
“Russian sabotage cannot be ruled out. Several packages suddenly caught fire and the authorities are raising the alarm.” – German magazine Focus adds fuel to the fire.
It is true that Russia does not figure in the official warning from the criminal police.
