Is psychological help included in compulsory health insurance?

Some time ago, a resident of the city, who did not want to be identified, requested at one of the private medical institutions in the capital to receive the specialized psychological assistance service of the Mandatory Tibbi Sigorta. In the medical institution they said that the psychological service to the citizen is paid only.

About this Oku.Az– was applied by the citizen himself.

According to him, the first session offered costs 45 AZN and subsequent sessions cost 15 AZN.

We submitted an application to the Compulsory Health Insurance Agency on the issue. From the institution Oku.AzIn response to the query from , it was reported that the aforementioned campaign was in force until some time ago:

“According to the campaign, taking into account the importance of protecting the mental health of citizens, the service was provided free of charge. The specialized psychological assistance service is not included in the provision of compulsory health insurance services.”

And from the Management Association of Territorial Medical Units (TABİB). Oku.AzIt was reported that participants in the Patriotic War, relatives of those who died during the Patriotic War, foreigners and stateless persons placed under the care of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in the Republic of Azerbaijan, refugees and internally displaced persons, Services are provided within the framework of state programs and other measures and psychological assistance to minors is provided free of charge.
